Buatlah pondasi beton bertulang sebesar 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 m. Campuran beton harus sesuai dengan perhitungan kekuatan tiang untuk menopang beban diatasnya. Karena tiang kayu yang digunakan berupa kayu antik, maka design umpak dibuat design dengan model lama dan ditambahkan finishing unsur alam, yaitu motif daun. Pembuatannya dengan cara menempelkan daun Rempelas ( daun yang dahulu kala digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengamplas permukaan kayu agar lebih halus ). Daun ini digunakan karena mempunyai serat yang kuat tetapi bersifat lentur. Menempelkan daun dilakukan ketika finishing semen masih dalam keadaan basah. Dalam keadaan basah, daun ini dapat menempel pada campuran semen sehingga serat-serat daun dapat meninggalkan cetakan tekstur yang terlihat natural. Finishing dengan semen basah ini dilakukan dengan cara manual oleh tanga kita, sehingga bentuknya tidak terlalu presisi, hal ini dimaksudkan agar kesan alami dan kesan antiknya bisa terbentuk dan sesuai dengan tiang kayu antiknya. Setelah finishing semen mengering, kita dapat melepas daun-daun tersebut agarcetakan serat daun dapat terlihat dengan jelas. kemudian amplas bagian-bagian yang terlalu kasar, sehingga permukaan umpak tidak terkesan non finish.

Untuk finishing akhir, Umpak ini dicat dengan menggunakan cat dinding exterior warna putih redup dengan campuran, issoproof dan semen putih. Dilakukan secara bertahap untuk pengecatannya, agar cetakan serat daun tidak tertutup oleh cat dan semen putih tersebut. Ketika sudah kering, kita dapat membuat effect lumut pada pori-pori cetakan serat daun tersebut dengan menggosokkan daun pisang pada seluruh permukaan umpak dan kita biarkan selama kurang lebih 2 minggu, maka akan muncul lumut-lumut hijau pada umpak tersebut. Lumut ini tidak akan merusak pondasi umpak, sebab pada campuran beton bertulang, kita gunakan campuran kedap air dan pada finishing cat kita gunakan isoproof supaya semen dan cat tidak terkontaminasi secara langsung oleh lumut-lumut yang tumbuh. Dengan hal ini, maka desain etnik yang diinginkan pada tiang-tiang kolom rumah kita dapat terealisasikan.

How we can makes the family room or bed room fell like that’s, but doesn’t used wall lamp like this….i will thinks more…to makes a new interior design with this felt to be more simple and clean at the wall to used interior lighting design.

Tipologi rumah atau tempat tinggal yang sering disebut “omah”, dimaksudkan adalah tempat bernaung bagi masyarakat di pulau jawa. Kehidupan orang jawa mencakup 3 syarat sebagai ungkapan pengertian hidup yaitu mencukupi kebutuhan sandang (pakaian yang wajar), Pangan ( minum dan makan ) dan Papan ( tempat tinggal ). Untuk syarat yang ketiga yaitu kebutuhan akan rumah tinggal haruslah terpenuhi sebab hal tersebut sebagai syarat untuk mencapai kehidupan yang sejahtera, sebab jikalau sudah memiliki rumah tinggal sendiri maka mereka tidak akan menyewa tempat bernaung atau sering disebut “ngindhung”. Bentukan rumah yang sederhana adalah ungkapan kesederhanaan hidup masyarakaat jawa. Hal itu dapat terlihat dari penggambaran bentuk denah yang cukup sederhana. Biasanya bentuk denah yang diterapkan adalah berbentuk persegi yaitu bujur sangkar dan persegi panjang. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan estetika hidup orang jawa yang mempunyai ketegasan prinsip dalam menjalankan tanggung jawab terhadap hidupnya. Sedangkan tipologi bentuk denah oval atau bulat tidak terdapat pada bentuk denah rumah tinggal orang jawa. Bentuk persegi empat ini dalam perkembangannya mengalami perubahan dengan adanya penambahan-penambahan ruang pada sisi bagian bangunannya dan tetap merupakan kesatuan bentuk dari denah persegi empat.

Berdasarkan pada sejarah pembelajaran perkembangan bentuk rumah tinggal orang jawa dapat dikategorikaan menjadi 4 macam bentukan yang mendasarinya sebagai bentuk rumah tinggal. Yaitu rumah tradisional bentuk “Panggangpe”, bentuk “Kampung”, bentuk “Limasan” dan bentuk “Joglo”. Rumah tradisional bentuk “Tajug” tidak dipakai sebagai rumah tinggal, melainkan dipakai sebagai rumah ibadah. Sebenarnya kategori bentuk di atas di pisahkan berdasarkan perbedaan bentukan atap yang dijabarkan seperti dibawah ini:

Rumah “panggangpe” merupakan bentuk bangunan yang paling sederhana dan bahkan merupakan bentuk bangunan dasar. Bangunan “panggangpe” ini merupakan bangunan pertama yang dipakai orang untuk berlindung dari gangguan angin, dingin, panas matahari dan hujan. Bangunan yang sederhana ini mempunyai bentuk pokok berupa tiang atau “saka” sebanyak 4 atau 6 buah. Sedang pada bagian sisi sekelilingnya diberi dinding yang hanya sekedar untuk menahan hawa lingkungan sekitar atau dapat dikatakan sebagai bentuk perlindungan yang lebih bersifat privat dari gangguan alam. Pada perkembangannya bentuk rumah “panggangpe” ini mengalami perubahan menjadi variasi bentukan yang lain, kira-kira sebanyak 6 bentukan hasil dari perkembangan bentuk yang sederhana tersebut.
